Summit Economic Partnership to Host High Country Tech Accelerator Demo Day on Dec. 6 in Steamboat Springs

SUMMIT COUNTY, CO — November 19, 2024 - Six innovative Summit County startups will showcase their potential at Demo Day, the capstone event of the High Country Tech Growth Challenge, happening Friday, December 6, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Steamboat Springs Social Club. Hosted in partnership with Routt County Economic Development Partnership, StartUp Colorado, and Summit Economic Partnership (SEP), the event will provide 11 businesses from Summit and Routt counties the opportunity to pitch their products and services to potential investors

Over the past three months, the High Country Tech Growth business accelerator program has supported these entrepreneurs in refining their business models, establishing revenue streams, and preparing for growth. The program showcases the innovation and potential of regional businesses, with Summit County companies demonstrating exceptional promise across diverse industries, including app development, affordable housing management, and advanced software solutions. The six Summit County start-ups participating in the program include:

  • Public House: Streamlined online application management system designed to simplify affordable housing application processes

  • TubeSift: AI-enabled software platform that helps advertisers target their audiences more effectively on YouTube.

  • Backcountry Beauties: Community-driven app and platform that empowers women to connect and explore the outdoors together. 

  • TreadShare: Ride-sharing platform focused on outdoor enthusiasts seeking sustainable travel options.

  • StayLoci: Rental platform offering additional tools for hosts to increase opportunities for longer stays.

  • PHRED Solutions Inc: Software company developing solutions to optimize manufacturing processes and logistics.

Demo Day will feature an investor-style pitch event, giving attendees an opportunity to hear directly from the entrepreneurs about their cutting-edge products and services. The event will also provide a space to connect with local innovators and celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit driving economic diversification in the region. The event is free and open to the public
